`loli +neko` search images that have tag `loli` and `neko`

`loli -neko` search images that have tag `loli` and exclude images with tag `neko`

`neko*` search for images with tags that start with tag `neko` (`neko`,`nekomimi` & etc.)

`hatsune_miku` use _ instead of `space`

`w:1000` or `width:1000` search images with exact width of 1000px *

`h:2000` or `height:2000` search images with exact height of 2000px *

`w:200*` search images with width of 200px and more *

`md5:hash` search images with file md5 hash *

`date:2009_02_26` search images uploaded on a certain date *

Tagging

• Replace spaces in tags with underscores.
  Example: `full_metal_panic`
  
  
• Use LastName FirstName order for characters with Japanese last names, or characters with full Chinese or Korean names. Middle names always follow the first name.
  Example: `haruhi_suzumiya` `soryu_asuka_langley`
  
  
• Use FirstName LastName order for characters with non-Asian names, or characters with Japanese first names but non-Asian last names, or characters with non-Asian first names but Chinese last names.
  Example: `john_smith` `akira_ferrari` `tony_leung`
  
  

Some tags have a different colors. Each color means specific tag type. You can see below a list of types and colors:
`gunslinger girl` - identify the tag as the name of anime, game & etc.
`kuga natsuki` - identify the tag as a character
`range murata` - identify the tag as the artist
`tagme` - system tags

Tag aliases

Sometimes, two tags can mean the same thing. For example, `pantsu` and `panties` have identical meanings. It makes sense that if you search for one, you should also get the results for the other.

Loli fix this issue by using tag aliases. Each alias one or more tags to one reference tag. For example, if we aliased `panties` to `pantsu`, then whenever someone searched for `panties` or tagged a post with `panties`, it would be internally replaced with `pantsu`.

Pending images

Each uploaded image is checked by administrator and then is accessible to all users.
You can see the number of pending images on your profile page. Full list of pending images you can see in menu Images → Pending. Also if you are registered user, you can vote for adding or rejecting images.

Before image will checked, it must be edited correctly.
If image have errors, they marked red color and members can edit it by clicking [ Edit ] near name.
Images without tags or with hash names can be in pending much more time before moderator check them.

If the administrator has rejected your image, you will receive a ticket indicating the reasons for removal.

Rejected images

· I uploaded many images, some of them rejected but I didn't see other. Why?
Because you are not ViP member, and your uploaded image are located in ViP zone. But do not worry, no ticket - not rejected. ;)

Here are explanation for popular reject reasons:

game cg - images from hentai games. Most are 800*600, 640*480 pixels.
Reason: Because them too many. I can't share full sets, so I prefer to exclude this type of art from loli.

adult, big breasts & etc.
Reason: first of all this is loli gallery, this means that most of image must contain loli or young character.
For example: if picture contain schoolgirls - it may be approved (not a real loli, but young enough). If the image contains a student - it may be rejected if the student is more adult.

copyright, watermark etc.
Reason: Sites like a galge rejecting always, animepaper sometimes, other sites depending on the image.

artifacts & etc.
Reason: Images with low quality and high compress not welcome.

crap
Reason: Images must be unique and good quality. Doujin, anatomycally wrong and disney-like-shit will be deleted.

oops
Reason: Oops it's not a mistake. Yours image could be approved - if you chose a right category or admin was in good mood and have a time to fix all info. But it did not happend.

NOTICE: Every rejected image will increase count of necesary images for ViP-status.

Pools

Pools are groups of images with a common theme. They are similar to favorites with three important differences: public pools allow anyone to add or remove from them, you can create multiple pools, and images in a pool can be ordered. This makes pools ideal for subjective tags, or for images that are part of a series (as is the case in photo sets).

Pools can be private or public. A private pool means you are the only person who can add or remove from it. In contrast, public pools can be updated by any user.

ViP Members

loli.su provide a free image upload and download service. However, we promote our uploading users. Each user who have necesary count of approved images could be a ViP-user.

You can check how much uploads in pending and how much uploads you need at your profile page. If you have done the necessary conditions, you can enable vip-status in your control panel.

NOTICE: If you revoke ViP and get it again, then date when you joined to vip will be lost.

Congratulations! First of all, let's clarify some details about wider opportunities.

As you can see, there is a few new categories available for you. You can upload similar content to it, BUT it doesn't mean that now you can ignore rules. `NOT welcome` doesn't mean `FORBIDDEN` and... So, read rules and be carefull while uploading ViP content.

· Yes, I understand, but there already exist content, but mine was rejected!
Even gold can't be 100% quality, only 99.9%. And of course loli have few exclusions too. The reasons can be different, but if image was approved - it have cost. I can't write all parameters which define what good and what bad, them too many. Content, quality, style, size, point of view & etc. So you can call it IMAO (It's My Admin's Opinion) :)
